During the 2020 pandemic, my older sister mailed me a greeting card, which brought a true joy that one could only get from receiving a thoughtful, unexpected gift. I remember going to a few big box stores to find a beautiful card to send back to her, but I realized that the more elaborate cards that I usually purchase did not feature people who looked like us. I came home and expressed my frustration to Stephen and he asked simply, “What are we going to do about it?”
With me being an avid crafter and Stephen being an artist, we decided to launch our greeting card company to address the gap.
For the next several weeks, we spent most of our free time developing concepts and designs, drawing inspiration from the black experience. We wanted our products to serve as a vehicle for love, inspiration, joy, and inclusion in a time when the pandemic and racial relations in our country have been disproportionately affecting communities of color.
Intentioned, LLC was born as a homage to our ancestors, to our people, to social justice, and to the futures of our children. We hope that our products serve as a beacon of light and hope to you and your loved ones.

Our greeting cards feature beautiful textures, colors, and diverse silhouettes, and are handcrafted with premium materials. You will find that most of our card designs can be used for any occasion! The cards are blank inside to provide you with the opportunity to use your own words to show your intentions (see what we did there?) to your friends and loved ones.
Our small gifts and artwork are either designed by our team or sourced from BIPOC and Women-owned businesses.
